Soko Hardware Celebrates 100 Years in Japantown!
Join the Japantown Community Benefit District in honoring Soko Hardware’s 100th anniversary THIS Saturday, 9/27 from 2 —3 PM on Osaka Way. A designated San Francisco Legacy Business, Soko Hardware has been a family-run institution since 1925—celebrating a century of resilience, culture, and community in the heart of Japantown.

9月27日（土）午後2時〜3時、ジャパンタウン・コミュニティ・ベネフィット・ディストリクト（JCBD）とともに、Soko Hardware（倉庫金物店）創業100周年をお祝いしましょう。1925年創業のSoko Hardwareは、サンフランシスコ市公認のレガシー・ビジネスであり、家族経営で受け継がれてきた、ジャパンタウンの中心にある文化と地域の象徴です。

The Japantown Foundation is offering grants for capital projects that preserve or promote Japanese and Japanese American culture in California’s Japantowns. Eligible nonprofits are encouraged to apply now for the 2025–2026 cycle. Learn more and apply here.
