11/14 **Friday** Ruby Bridges Walk to School
Join the inaugural Ruby Bridges Walk to School on Friday, November 14th, meeting at 6:30 am, and starting promptly at 7 am from the steps of SF City Hall (Civic Center Plaza side). This historic annual event, inspired by 5th graders who wanted to commemorate Ruby Bridges' brave walk to integrate an all-white school in 1960, promotes civil rights and student leadership. Walk with us to Rosa Parks Elementary School and hear from keynote speaker Deborah Carlino, co-founder of the Ruby Bridges Walk movement.

第1回ルビー・ブリッジズ・ウォーク・トゥ・スクールにご参加ください。11月14日（金）午前6時30分に集合、午前7時にSF市庁舎の階段前（シビックセンタープラザ側）から出発します。

1960年に白人のみの学校への入学を勇敢に歩いて成し遂げたルビー・ブリッジズの功績を称えたいという小学5年生の発案で始まったこの歴史的な年次イベントは、公民権と生徒のリーダーシップを推進します。私たちと一緒にローザ・パークス小学校まで歩き、「ルビー・ブリッジズ・ウォーク」運動の共同設立者であるデボラ・カーリーノ氏の基調講演を聞きましょう。

An Important Message from the SF Marin County Foodbank regarding SNAP
In the wake of the ongoing government shutdown and the USDA's decision not to use emergency funds to support the SNAP program, the SF-Marin Food Bank is working with the community to support impacted families and individuals.

• San Francisco households eligible for support through the pre-paid gift card program will receive a letter from the San Francisco Human Services Agency (SFHSA) containing information on how to access their card. For more information, click here.
