Please join us at our first-ever City Hall press conference to announce the Japantown Japantown Cultural Heritage, History, and Economic Sustainability Strategy (CHHESS), a blueprint for Japantown’s future, on Thursday, 3/23, City Hall Room 408. Thurs, 3/23: Press Conference on the Japantown CHHESS Join City Supervisors, agency officials, and community leaders at a press conference on the Japantown CHHESS. Please come out to show your support! Immediately following the press conference, we will head to the Board of Supervisors Public Safety & Neighborhood Services Committee which will make a recommendation to the full Board of Supervisors on adoption of the Japantown CHHESS. A full copy of the report is available at the JTF website. We invite you to make public comment of 2 minutes per individual. You can also call-in your support by following directions available here. The hearing will be followed by an informal reception at the Board of Supervisors Conference Room 278. We need you! Please let us know you are coming by sending a note to info@japantowntaskforce.org.
