This week marks the 81st anniversary of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki with a Cascade Ceremony at the Japanese Tea Garden and a screening of the HBO Original documentary White Light/Black Rain in Japantown. Enjoy workshops from JCCCNC on anmitsu ice cream and mini Zen gardens. ぜひお気に入りのジャパンタウンの写真を 第2回 Japantenna フォトコンテスト にご応募ください。今週は、広島・長崎への原爆投下から81年を迎えます。日本庭園（Japanese Tea Garden）で開催される灯籠流し（Cascade Ceremony） や、ジャパンタウンで上映される HBO オリジナル・ドキュメンタリー 白い光と黒い雨『White Light/Black Rain』 を通して、平和について思いを寄せる機会となります。また、JCCCNCでは あんみつアイスクリーム作り や ミニ枯山水（禅庭園） のワークショップも開催されます。さらに今後は、落語と抹茶を楽しむ特別イベント や、ジャパンタウン・カルチュラル・ディストリクト・ビジターセンター で開催する Japanese Language Lounge も予定しています。どうぞお楽しみに！ |
