2/28: Community Briefing on Peace Plaza Cultural Elements

Hosted by the Japantown Task Force Peace Plaza Committee, the Peace Plaza Renovation Project design team will review key cultural elements including the Eternal Flame, Water Element, interpretive signage and more. Updates on the Peace Plaza Renovation Project are available here.

2月28日ピースプラザの文化的要素におけるコミュニティ説明会がJTFのピースプラザ委員会主催にて行われます。永遠の炎、水、平和の能筆、歴史散策のパネル、岩、ピースパゴダ、解釈標識などが主な文化的要素に含まれ、ピースプラザ修復プロジェクトのデザインチームが見直しを行います。ご参加はhereからどうぞ。

2/23: "MUNI Raised Me" is a group art show featuring eryn kimura and Lorenzo Tamayo-Lee, among others, in a new exhibit curated by Meymey Lee, Celi Tamayo-Lee, and Sasha Vue at the SOMArts Cultural Center, 934 Brannan Street. The exhibit runs from 2/24-4/9. RSVP for the 2/23 Opening Night Reception here.

Free COVID Test Kits

Given the recent upswing in COVID cases, JTF is offering free COVID rapid test kits to organizations (up to 20 kits) and individuals (up to 5 kits) provided by the California Department of Public Health while supplies last. Pick-up is at the JTF office, 1764 Sutter Street, 3rd Floor, on weekdays.
