You are warmly invited to the Japantenna Craft Valley exhibit ribbon-cutting on Sat, 10/14, 11 am with Consul General of Japan Yo Osumi who recently arrived from Japan with his family and Mayor Masayuki Hayashi of Himi City in Craft Valley. The exhibit brings together Toyama Prefecture and its cities of Himi, Nanto, and Takaoka, plus Hida City of Gifu Prefecture and Komatsu of Ishikawa Prefecture to showcase over 100 different handicrafts and food from these unique rural communities for two days only! Join us at the Japantown Cultural District Visitor Center on the 2nd Floor of the Japan Center East Mall from 11 am-6 pm this weekend only. |

The SF Arts Commission is recruiting grant panelists to serve on review panels in Spring 2024. We are seeking panelists who are experienced in racial equity, SF’s arts ecosystem, and are deeply connected to and engaged with the communities listed in the Cultural Equity Endowment Legislation. This is a paid opportunity and a great way to learn more about the grantmaking process.
