Informational Presentation on the current state of small businesses within the "Housing Opportunity Area" and policies and programs that can support them as new housing development is built. The hearing will provide an opportunity for small business owners and community members to share feedback and concerns, and discussion on policy recommendations for inclusion in the upcoming rezoning legislation. Agenda here.

Making Waves, a documentary directed by API Council Board Member Jon Osaki and Josh Chuck, about the history, impact, and current efforts around Asian American Studies is being screened on Saturday 5/10 at 4pm at 1881 Post Street (AMC Kabuki Theater 1) as part of CAAMFest 2025. After the screening, there will be a reception starting at around 5:45pm at 22 Peace Plaza 2nd Floor (KOHO Creative Hub) that includes food, mingling with cast/crew, and a panel discussion about the film. You can find a full description of Making Waves below and tickets to the screening on CAAMFest’s website!

APIカウンシル理事のジョン・オサキ氏とジョシュ・チャック氏が監督を務めたドキュメンタリー映画『Making Waves』は、アジアン・アメリカン・スタディーズ（アジア系アメリカ人研究）の歴史、影響、そして現在の取り組みを描いています。この作品は CAAMFest 2025 の一環として、5月10日（土）午後4時より、1881 Post Street（AMCカブキ・シアター1） にて上映されます。上映後、午後5時45分頃より、22 Peace Plaza 2階（KOHO Creative Hub） にてレセプションが行われます。レセプションでは軽食が提供されるほか、出演者・制作スタッフとの交流や、映画に関するパネルディスカッションも予定されています。『Making Waves』の詳細およびチケット情報は、CAAMFest公式ウェブサイト にてご確認いただけます！
