1/10 — **Saturday** KADOMATSU: 2026 Sogetsu School Ikebana Workshop
Join us for a Sogetsu-style flower arranging workshop to create a KADOMATSU, traditional entryway decoration for the New Year. The Japantown Cultural District Visitor Center is pleased to partner with the San Francisco Bay Area Branch of the Sogetsu School of Ikebana Flower-Arranging to present a unique and rich traditional Japanese cultural experience. This event is ONE DAY ONLY, Saturday, January 10, 2026. Sign up for sessions held 11:15 am-12:30 pm and 1:45-3 pm. This event promises to sell out! Tickets: $35 + Eventbrite fees to cover materials.

日本町文化地区ビジターセンター（Japantown Cultural District Visitor Center）は、草月流いけばなサンフランシスコ・ベイエリア支部との提携により、このユニークで豊かな日本の伝統文化体験をお届けいたします。本イベントは2026年1月10日（土）の1日限定開催です。 セッションは「11:15〜12:30」と「13:45〜15:00」の2回行われます。 チケット完売が予想されますので、お早めにお申し込みください！

Apply for Medi-Cal and Activate Your CalFresh Emergency Grocery Card by December 31, 2025!

Changes coming to Medi-Cal:

• New Eligibility Rule: Starting 1/1/26, undocumented adults (19+) not yet enrolled will no longer qualify for full coverage.

• Apply by 12/31/25: Undocumented adults must apply by year-end to secure and maintain full coverage eligibility.

• Pending Applications: If you apply by 12/31/25, you remain eligible even if your application is reviewed in 2026.

• Current Enrollees: If you are already enrolled by 12/31/25, you will keep your coverage regardless of immigration status.

SF CalFresh Recipients:

• Emergency Grocery Cards must be activated by 12/31/25, and all funds must be spent by 3/31/26.

Medi-Calに関する変更点：

• 新しい資格ルール: 2026年1月1日以降、未加入の不法就労・滞在（undocumented）の状態にある成人（19歳以上）は、全額補償（full coverage）の対象外となります。

• 2025年12月31日までに申請を: 全額補償の資格を確保・維持するには、年内に申請を行う必要があります。

• 申請中の場合: 2025年12月31日までに申請すれば、審査が2026年になっても資格は維持されます。

• 既加入の方: 2025年12月31日までに加入済みであれば、在留資格に関わらず継続して補償を受けられます。

サンフランシスコ CalFresh受給者の方へ：

• 「緊急食料カード（Emergency Grocery Cards）」は2025年12月31日までに有効化し、残高は2026年3月31日までに使い切る必要があります。
