Salute to Service: The Nisei Soldier Tribute
Get ready for the three-day opening celebration for the 11-city tour of the I Am An American: The Nisei Soldier Experience Traveling Exhibit that tells the storied history of second-generation Japanese Americans who demonstrated their loyalty during World War II by enlisting to serve in the U.S. Army. Tickets for the full weekend experience are soldout. However, for the special Grand Celebration event on Sat, 2/21, at the Palace of Fine Arts, featuring Former Army Chief of Staff Eric Shinseki, there are still special discounted tickets of $60 each available to community members at this link but only through Wed, 2/18.
