CONSTRUCTION NOTICE: This week, the Post Street entrance to the Kinokuniya Mall will undergo construction from 9 am-6 pm. During this time, they will be working in phases to still allow access to the building

Phase 1: the two west doors will be inaccessible, and the east stairs and ramp will be open for access.

Phase 2: the two east side doors will be inaccessible, and the west side entrance will be open for access. During this time there will be a temporary ramp for handicap access and deliveries. Entrances will be clearly marked for mall visitors.

今週、紀伊國屋モールのポストストリート入口にて午前9時から午後6時まで工事が行われます。工事中も段階的に作業を進め、建物への出入りは可能となります。

■フェーズ1：西側の2つのドアは通行不可となります。東側の階段およびスロープは利用可能です。

■フェーズ2：東側の2つのドアは通行不可となります。西側の入口は利用可能です。この期間中、車椅子や配達用の一時的なスロープが設置されます。モールをご利用の皆さまには、出入口が分かりやすく表示されます。

The San Francisco-Osaka Sister City Association is proud to offer an opportunity of a lifetime to two high school students in San Francisco through our annual High School Student Ambassador Program. This program is funded with the support of corporate sponsors and individual donors in the San Francisco Bay Area, including former participants of the program and their families.

PURPOSE: To enable two San Francisco high school students to gain an understanding of the people and culture of Japan through the practical experience of living with Japanese families in our sister city of Osaka, Japan, and to serve as Student Ambassadors for the City of San Francisco.

REQUIREMENTS: Applicant must be a high school student (9th, 10th, or 11th grade student) in the Fall 2024-Spring 2025 school year, either residing in and/or attending a public or private high school in San Francisco. Unfortunately, due to some post-trip obligations that can only be completed in San Francisco in Fall 2025, no graduating seniors (Class of 2025) are eligible to apply.

サンフランシスコ・大阪姉妹都市協会は、毎年恒例の「高校生親善大使プログラム」を通じて、サンフランシスコの高校生2名にとって一生に一度の貴重な機会を提供できることを誇りに思います。このプログラムは、サンフランシスコ・ベイエリアの企業スポンサーや個人寄付者、そして過去の参加者やそのご家族のご支援によって運営されています。

■目的: 本プログラムは、サンフランシスコの高校生2名が、日本の姉妹都市・大阪で日本の家庭にホームステイしながら、日本の人々や文化について理解を深める貴重な体験を提供するものです。また、サンフランシスコ市の「高校生親善大使」としての役割を果たしていただきます。

■応募資格: 2024年秋から2025年春にかけての学年度に、サンフランシスコ市内の公立または私立高校に在籍している、またはサンフランシスコ市に居住している高校生（9年生・10年生・11年生）であること。なお、プログラム終了後の2025年秋にサンフランシスコで行われる義務イベントへの参加が必要となるため、2025年卒業予定の12年生（シニア）は応募対象外となります。

Respond to the Administration’s use of the “Alien Enemies Act” which was last used to justify the incarceration of Japanese Americans, later deemed unconstitutional, during World War II. A message from The Center: The Takahashi Youth Ambassador Fellowship Program (TYAFP) was created as a dynamic youth exchange program between the United States (U.S.) and Japan. The 2025 Takahashi Youth Ambassador Fellowship Program will be an 8-month commitment with travel to Japan from July 31-August 8, 2025. Program details and application here.
