🌸 [Sat/Sun, 4/11-12 & 4/18-19]: 59th Annual Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival

Join us at the 2026 Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival, the largest cherry blossom festival in the country! The festival is free and open to the public and features cultural performances, traditional arts, live music, and the annual Queen Program — with many ways to volunteer and support the community celebration. Taiwanese-Japanese comedian Atsuko Okatsuka will serve as the 59th Grand Marshal for the Grand Parade on Sun, 4/19 (1–3 pm).

Join a special opportunity to visit San Francisco’s Presidio Building 35—the former headquarters of the Western Defense Command, where Lt. General John L. DeWitt issued the WWII proclamations that led to the incarceration of Japanese Americans. The evening includes tours of DeWitt’s office, the former radio room, and a program highlighting the site’s significance while promoting healing for survivors and their descendants. RSVP
