Japantown Economic Development and Marketing Committee (JEDM)
The purpose of the Japantown Economic Development/Marketing Committee is to develop and implement strategies for the economic stability, economic improvement, and business development of Japantown.

Land Use/Transportation Committee
The purpose of the Land Use/Transportation Committee is to monitor land use and zoning in Japantown. This committee will be an advocate for Japantown on new real estate developments that directly affect the Japantown community by negotiating community benefit agreements. The committee will advocate projects affecting the transportation to and from the Japantown area as well.

Cultural Heritage Committee
The purpose of the Cultural Heritage Committee is to advocate and implement tools for preservation, maintenance of structures of historical and cultural significance to Japantown.

Community Health & Safety (To be established)
The purpose of the Community Health and Safety Committee is to help monitor, improve, implement and maintain health and safety in Japantown. This committee will advocate for community-based organizations vital to Japantown.

Community Land Trust (To be established)
The purpose of the Community Land Trust Committee is to develop, implement and maintain a Japantown Community Land Trust.

Public Spaces Committee (To be established)
The Public Spaces Committee’s role is to advocate for improvement and maintenance of safe, secure and beautiful public spaces in the Japantown area.
